CNC Fluting and Grinding machines

RODOMACH developed a complete new innovative range of high speed fluting machine for the food and processing industry.

The first machine is developed in corporation with DPT in the Netherlands. This fully automated machine has been designed for fluting a great variety of rolls with a weight up to 6.500 kg. All diameters up to 813 mm can be machined. One of the main characteristics of this machine is the impressive machining speed. The back stroke of the machine runs at a speed of 1,8 meter per second. The cutting speed is completely variable which means that the speed at entrance and exit of the material can be adjusted to a lower value then the rest of the roll. In this way the machine will have a cycle time of only 40% of standard machines of our competitors. Beside that the machine is able to run after startup, without operator interference. This is possible by using an automatic tool changer with 12 tools which can be sharpened completely automated by a robotized grinding process. 

On the bases of this big machine, Rodomach developed a range of other machines for a wide range of roll specifications.
Additional features have been added such as an integrated grinding unit.
With this combined fluting and grinding machine, customers of Rodomach are able to refurbish rolls for the food and processing industry  completely.
